This is the place where I compile my word works: both serious and creative. Not that much, though. At least I know where to turn to whenever I need a place.
Fire Rose, that is.
My Place, indeed.

we were talking about how poems should have rhymes and all when haiku came up as part of the conversation topic. i asked him to demonstrate a haiku, which, he told me, is supposed to have 17 syllables all in all when we read one out: 5 in the 1st line, 7 in the 2nd line, again 5 in the final line. so he composed this haiku for me that instant. and the above haiku is just as wonderful. he's seriously good at this, i must say. thanks, dave!
